Christine connell fmaat
DIRECTOR
Chrissy has 25 years experience in accountancy, becoming sole director of a firm before establishing Connell Accountants. She became a fellow AAT member in 2016.
With extensive experience in business, having run property developments, construction companies and rental properties, she understands the challenges business owners can face.
A passion for business growth and helping clients realise their goals is what drives her. In her spare time, she likes country dog walks, gardening, cooking and property renovation.
Deborah ripley

PAYROLL & VAT MANAGER
Debbie qualified with the AAT in 1990 and has extensive experience in VAT and payroll, specialising in the hospitality industry.
Having worked in various accounting roles over the last 35 years including Secretary, Bookkeeper and Accounts Manager, she joined us in 2015 and is now our Payroll and VAT Manager.
Debbie is a proud mum to her son and spends a lot of her time being ‘Mum’s Taxi’.
She loves cats, DIY and anything crafty, including knitting, card making, sewing, and scrap-booking.
Jeremy chudley

ACCOUNTANT
Jeremy joined the team as an Accountant in 2018. He part qualified in 1985 and has 34 years experience.
Throughout his accounting career he has worked in various roles from bookkeeping, audit and accounts preparation to management accounts, PAYE and VAT. He has worked for manufacturing, car rental and haulage companies, as well as, a caravan park and language school.
Jeremy is married with two grown up children, of whom he is very proud. He enjoys reading, watching films and the occasional video game play when he has the time.
Ryan stoneman

ACCOUNTANT
Ryan gained his Level 4 AAT qualification at South Devon College and quickly began his accounting career.
He started working as a Trainee Accounts Assistant in 2013, at M G Breed & Co and moved with us in 2015.
He is currently an ACCA student and is looking forward to becoming a Chartered Accountant.
Ryan likes going to the gym, movies, reading, playing squash and healthy eating. He also enjoys travelling through Europe and wants to try his hand at making his own gin.
Cara Galloway
ACCOUNTS & PAYROLL ASSISTANT
Cara joined us at the start of 2018 and has quickly progressed throughout her AAT studies ever since.
She completed Level 2 in Bookkeeping in July 2018 and is looking forward to the rest of her training.
Cara has lived in Scotland, France, Spain and worked in Gibraltar for 18 months as a Fraud Analyst, before settling in Devon 2 years ago.
In her spare time, she enjoys landscape photography and walks on Dartmoor.
